Bhupendra Patel whose full name is Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel is an Indian politician and the current Chief Minister of Gujarat. His political career began in the Memnagar Municipality, and he later became the MLA from the Ghatlodia constituency in Ahmedabad during the 2017 Gujarat Assembly Elections.

In September 2021, after former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani resigned, Mr. Patel was unanimously chosen as the new Chief Minister by BJP Legislative Party leaders. He took oath on 13 September 2021 and is now serving as the 17^th Chief Minister of Gujarat.
