Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has been honoured with the prestigious “Outstanding Public Service Award” by the Old Boys Association of Hindu College (OBAHC) of New Delhi. The award was presented during the 20th Distinguished Alumni Awards 2025 ceremony in New Delhi on 21 September 2025.
Pema Khandu, son of former Arunachal Pradesh CM late Dorjee Khandu, is an Indian politician and the 9th Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, serving since 2016. He belongs to the Monpa tribe and was ranked as the second richest Chief Minister of Indian in 2024 by the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR).Since taking office, he and his government have changed party affiliations from the Indian national Congress (INC) to People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) in September 2016, and later to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) in December 2016.
