Vishnu Deo Sai is an Indian politician and the 4th Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He is the second tribal leader to serve as a Chief Minister, after Hemananda Biswal of Odisha and was listed as the 9th richest Chief Minister of India in 2024 by the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR).
Sai belongs to the Kunwar tribe and studied up to Higher Secondary. His political journey began in 1989 when he was elected as a Panch in the Bagiya Gram Panchayat. Over the years, he grew in his career, serving as an MLA, MP and later becoming the Chief Minister.

Vishnu Deo Sai completed his higher secondary education at Loyola Higher Secondary School in Kunkuri, Jashpur district. Owing to family responsibilities, he was unable to pursue further studies and began working in agriculture to help support his family.
